One of the popular file sharing site Torrentz.eu & thepiratebay.se has been blocked. It's home pages show the message which confirms that site has been blocked by the authorities in India. There is no news about the time for which the site is blocked so they will blocked till they take the down the copyrighted data in India. This adds dailymotion to the list of sites which have been blocked in last few months for the copyright protection.

torrentz.com is most used  site for downloading files using an app called bittorrent or u Torrent. As per the statistics it gets 500 million hits page view & 100 million downloads every month.Torrent works on sharing the files, so that everyone who downloads the file can share the love by keeping the files available for other users.

There was lot speculations about the torrent sites.showing adult  That can be one of the reasons daily motion has been put down by major ISP. All the pages, subpages of the site gives 404 (page not found error) where as home page says.
